Horseshoe Online - The Horseshoe Organisation
Welcome to my Website... Horseshoe Online - The Horseshoe Organisation
Basically an ongoing life style that includes my interests - mainly in the sphere of transportation primarily bicycles and road passenger transport. Each and everyone of these web pages has a book attached towards it, be it large or small in page content and images. My first was "A Historical Guide to Horseshoe Coaches", a small and condensed history of the family business that I was involved with for a great many years Hence the above images of the coaches, left 1970s, and right 1980s. This is now in the throws of a major updating since it's initial print back in 2005, please note the image on the left depicting the cover of the future renewed edition.
One book - Red White & Blue; The Brooklyn Chewing Gum Cycle Team, having been written a number of years ago that seemed to come out rather well and on occasions I get an email concerning the whereabouts of any copies. Unfortunately, very little chance as these were limited in print as well as a book I hope people treasure! However, this Brooklyn book I will hopefully as noted on it's particular webpage be eventually updated in 2018.
Other books, as noted are following, when time allows. As an "old school" style bike rider my interests are with the many historical teams and riders, one or two that I may have associated with in one way or other. Each and every book I write is limited on the number printed due to the self publishing and price due to the low numbers, but overall produced I hope in the highest quality that I am able to give.

CLAUD BUTLER/GAZZOLA
Far left

bicycle for a series of events, 2018 on
going.

Left image, showing the GAZZOLA jersey produced in Italy, and is part of the kit to be worn as it contrasts well with the colours of the Claud Butler.
RETRO AND MODERN
Left; the FORD FRANCE trade team jersey worn during the 1966 season. This modern day make, made out of Merino is really top drawer in all aspects, expensive but if you want "the real thing" even with front pockets this is the one!
Right; my "up to date" every day bike. One of Raleigh's take on cyclo cross/ day use. Alloy frame coupled with carbon forks. Since this photo I have changed the handlebar stem to one much shorter as I was "over reaching" and stretching my shoulders and back too much.
